Calling the Jefferson County Emergency ARES Net into active status by (callsign).

This ARES Net meets every Tuesday night at 9:00 PM on the Birmingham Amateur Radio Club’s 146.88 MHz repeater with a PL tone of 88.5 Hz. We invite all properly license radio operators to check-in and actively participate in training for a real emergency. In the event of repeater failure, this net will move to the 146.76 MHz repeater system. At this time, I need a volunteer to serve as an alternate Net Control. The alternate Net Control would take over the Net if I am unable to continue. Please call now. At this time, is there any NTS or Time sensitive traffic for the Net.
